Commentary -
What a thrilling encounter this has been and finally we get to catch our breath before the next match begins in a while. Do join us shortly for that one. Till then this is Shashank signing out on behalf of Ajith and Srivathsa.
Yusuf: The ball was coming onto the bat nicely so that helped me carry on. My form in domestic cricket helped me a lot and that is the confidence I carried into this innings.
Yusuf Pathan is the Man of the match for his blistering innings
Tendulkar: Wasn't a treat to watch Yusuf bat because we were at the receiving end but that was a fantastic innings. Probably I would have enjoyed it a lot more had I been in the same team. The partnership between Rayudu and Tiwary was crucial and Satish is a special talent who has done extremely well. I was always confident in Zak's and Malinga's abilities.
Warne: I am proud of the way the guys fought. Perhaps we gave away 20 extra runs but we can all be happy with the effort. Some guys are still finding their feet as they are coming out of a hibernation but credit to the Mumbai Indians for holding their nerve. I have seen Sachin smash all of us over the park but in the last 21 years Yusuf's innings was perhaps the best I have ever seen.
Naman Ojha gets the 'Catch of the match' award
Yusuf Pathan gets the maximum sixers award
This has been one of the most thrilling encounters that we have witnessed in the IPL. A superb knock by Yusuf Pathan got the Royals close to what looked like a mammoth target at half stage. He scored 100 off just 37 deliveries and he became the 2nd Indian to score a century in the IPL and this is the fastest century ever in the IPL. At the end, Mumbai held their nerve and it was Malinga who did the trick for his captain. The Royals should not lose heart as they put up a brave fight, thanks to Yusuf Pathan. Stay tuned for the presentation...
19.6 Malinga to Mascarenhas, 1 run, what a magnificent delivery to end proceedings, full and straight on middle and leg, all Mascarenhas can do it get some bat on it towards long on. What a finish to this match, it was dead and buried for the Royals until Yusuf Pathan came out and gave them some hope with his blistering innings. Mumbai Indians win by 4 runs!
Can Mascarenhas be the hero for the Royals?
19.5 Malinga to Mascarenhas, 2 runs, spears it in nice and full outside off, he carves it to deep extra cover and gets across for 2
19.5 Malinga to Mascarenhas, wide, and the drama continues to amaze everybody, sprays it down leg much to the dismay of the crowd
19.4 Malinga to Mascarenhas, 2 runs, digs out a yorker to long on and sets off for the 2nd, an excellent throw from Satish at the striker's end but Mascarenhas is just in, a matter of a few milli-metres I should say, close call but he gets the benifit of doubt
Third umpire called for once again, Mascarenhas looks to be in though, very very close for the umpire to call
19.3 Malinga to Warne, 1 run, yorker length delivery on middle and leg, he squeezes it towards deep mid wicket
Shane Warne, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Malinga to Uniyal, out Bowled!! Looks to back away and slap a yorker length delivery on the off stump over cover, ends up chopping it back onto the stumps, much to the delight of the crowd, is this the wicket that turns it in Mumbai's favor? Uniyal b Malinga 0(1)
19.2 Malinga to Uniyal, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
Amit Uniyal, left handed bat, comes to the crease
Malinga to Mascarenhas, out Dogra Run Out!! Perfect yorker on middle, he gets a bit of bat on it and sets off for the single as he had no other option, Malinga is quick to run across the turf, an excellent pick up and throw at the striker's end finds him way short of the crease, how big a moment is this? Dogra run out (Malinga) 41(29) [4s-2 6s-2]
19.1 Malinga to Mascarenhas, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!

18.2 Zaheer to Mascarenhas, 2 runs, excellent yorker on middle but he gets down onto the ball in a flash, gets it back past the bowler, straight down the ground towards long off, the fielder does well to cut that off

17.6 Sathish to Dogra, 1 run, finally he gets the yorker length right, he digs it down to long on to retain the strike
17.5 Sathish to Dogra, FOUR!!, angled down leg, he gets across the line and helps it on its way into the deep fine leg boundary, wow!
17.4 Sathish to Dogra, FOUR!!, slower delivery on middle from round the wicket, he rocks back and pulls towards the deep mid wicket boundary, splits the gap to perfection
17.3 Sathish to Dogra, SIX!!, it doesn't mater what the length is, it is only destined one way and that is to the boundary. Backs away and smacks a full delivery on middle over the bowler's head, way into the stands!
17.2 Sathish to Dogra, SIX!!, floated in full outside off, he backs away and goes over long off, connects handsomely and the party continues!
Dimitri Mascarenhas, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Sathish to Dogra, out Pathan Run Out!! What an unfortunate way to end a magnificent innings from this burly right hander from Baroda. It was a yorker length delivery which was dug back to the bowler, Pathan was backing away a little too far, Satish collects the ball and throws down the stumps at the non-striker's end, Pathan is just short of the crease and he has to make the long walk back. Pathan run out (Sathish) 100(37) [4s-9 6s-8]

16.6 Jayasuriya to Pathan, SIX!!, nicely tossed up on middle, he clears his front leg and lofts him high and handsome over long on, way back into the crowd and the Mumbaikars who have trooped into the stadium in large numbers are shell shocked.
